Ej sikke lej was founded in 2004, with the eye-catching owl as its logo. Ej sikke lej was among the first brands on the new Danish scene of children fashion with fun, colorful prints and playful and creative clothing for children, which was based on functionality, durability and comfort.   

Today ej sikke lej has grown to be a strong brand with a mission to create joy in everyday life for as many children as possible through marketing of unique and fun collections. The team behind ej sikke lej belive that a childs understanding of the world that surrounds them can be strengthen through joyful play and creativity. Therefore all collections is based on comfort and functionality to ensure the children’s freedom of movement.

Ej Sikke Lej´s designs are vivid, full of humorous and lots of happy colors. We are Modernistic Hippies. Modernistic because we look towards the future whilst researching into in functionality and comfort and Hippies because our playful and creative approach to design. Ej sikke lej’s design is based on the heritage of the '70ies, a time that was caracterized by a modern and dynamic development and where functionality, creativity and a focus on simple expression grew on a large scale. The resulting of this lovely mixture beeing a modernistic hippie have created many loyal customers, both in Denmark and in the rest of Europe.
